Spider 1 and Spider 2
Spider 1 is good at trapping ant-like traffic lights.

Splitting Wood from Hannah’s Apple Tree
Kent chopped our last apple tree down because of disease.
Here both halves of the split wood hang in midair, thanks to Walker’s way with the ax.

Walker arrives from Galveston
Syracuse airport: Walker was rewarded with frequent stares wearing a dishdasha (ankle-length pajama-like gown) from Bahrain and a Pakistanian scarf. Plus powerful headphones and below the photo frame, some Red Wing boots.

Full Plate
Once I put all my food on my plate tonight, I thought, hmmm, red. So even though my food stylist didn't show up, I thought it was worthy of a photo. The grub? Red adzuki beans cooked with seaweed, fresh tomato with cilantro and dill plus beets and carrots with ginger cooked in orange juice and dotted with chopped unpeeled lemon.
(the beet color took over!)

Broken Plate
After this plate was broken, I was just about to throw it away...when I had an idea flash! Why don't I break it more and then create a small mosaic with it? Have to get the technical know-how from some-where. Any thoughts from my peanut gallery?

Emma and Jane
Forgot about these....a couple of weeks ago, when I was in Norwalk....Emma, Jane and I went to our now favorite Venezuelan beach food restaurant....called Valencia Luncheria. It is very popular and since there are only 18 seats it is hard to get in. So we got there right when they opened for breakfast....8 am on sunday, and had the whole place to ourselves. Jane and Emma like the mango and brie arepas. Makes you want to paint a room orange!
